Ok, it was EXTREMELY hard for me to narrow down my favorite 9 photos of 2009. After narrowing down, I still couldn't decide on the last 3 (and had 11 to choose from...even after narrowing down as much as I could), so I enlisted the help of 4 people to help me decide on the last 3. So in no particular order, here are just 9 of my MANY favorites from 2009!

Thank you all for making 2009 a wonderful year. 2010 is following in 2009's footsteps and i'm currently booked until MAY, so please don't hesitate to book a session before i'm booked up for the year. Also, I will be announcing mini sessions for the fall, so keep posted on that. 

Last but not least, I hope to see you at the *FREE* Snow Day at The New Children's Museum today! I will be there shooting the fun from 2-4pm! :) 

I hate to break the news that I decided to skip mailing out cards this year (instead you get this 5 minute PJ shoot - hehehe). I know, I know, certain people (including my sister) will never let me live this down....but I promise I have a good reason!  I have barely had a week and a half off and shoots start back up on Monday (yes, the 28th of December....not January), so between trying to enjoy my little time off, getting sick (twice! Uggh!), being the best aunt ever and going to *FIVE* of my niece's All Star soccer tournament games (shooting of course) in 2 days (oh and they WON the championship by the way! WOO HOO!!!), a birthday party, finishing up Christmas shopping (still need to grab a few last things!), wrapping and trying to spend time with my family, etc.....well yeah, I decided to skip the cards this year since it's so late in the game anyway. Think of it as me going "green" this season ;)  

Be sure to check back in a few days since I will be posting my "Favorite 9 of 2009", just like last year's "Favorite 8 of 2008".

They are bringing in REAL snow to the museum park, so come on down for a fun and FREE snow day!!!  My suggestion would be to print out the coupon above and visit the museum first and then come out at 2pm for some fun in the snow!! Don't forget to wear your snowsuit!  The snow day will be from 2-4pm and *I* will be there photographing.....so if you come down....who knows, maybe your kiddo will be one of the many I photograph....and could end up on the museum website...and/or MINE! ;)

Santa came early!.....and by Santa, I mean Keva and Tim who own metalDINE and sent me this awesome, custom and personalized PERFECTLY, piece of art! I was already thrilled with all of the holiday cards we've been receiving, but this little surprise was definitely the icing on the cake. With only about 15 minutes of daylight to spare, I ran outside (and then back inside because it was frickin' freezing - shut up...for San Diego, this IS "freezing" ;) hehe) and tried to get creative to help show off the awesomeness :)  These are PERFECT gifts, so if you aren't sure what to get your mom, wife, sister, husband, best friend, aunt, cousin, kiddo, etc......get them something unique, personal, one of a kind....and kick ass! Oh and in case you aren't familiar with me or my blog, M = Mark (my husband), J = Julie (Me! woo hoo!) and PJ = Paige Jamieson (our daughter) :) I LOVE it!!!

 

P.S - That's a little peek at our photography themed Christmas tree this year (my pick obviously ;) hehe). I still need to put the Polaroids on it, but you get the idea ;)
