Our original shoot date was rained out, but not this time! In fact the sun was out in full force....and even refused to go down (at the time it normally does)! It's ok though, we revisited some old spots, tried out some new ones.....and laughed A LOT. The H family was up for anything. Oh and as soon as I got out of the car to meet them....they handed me some gorgeous flowers...and even a gift for PJ! So sweet (thanks again!)!! I seriously have the best clients!.....

These are 3 of the most amazing kids (can I call them that?...even though they are all over 18?) I know. Joseph, Michelle and Marc are 3 siblings who are the most kind and polite people you could ever meet. They are hard working, helpful, funny, ridiculously apologetic about anything (haha) etc, etc. Basically, I could go on for days about how wonderful they are. They were out here from New York and loved "the rim wall"......so we made it happen. I brought out their inner model....and they worked it......

 

 

............and yes, we had FUN too! ;) 

 

 

Miss PJ came along to the shoot....and I had to get some photos of her in the awesome jacket that one of my best friends (thanks again Bergenholtz fam!) gave her for her birthday (P.S - no, she doesn't wear glasses.....she's just been obsessed with fake (lenses out) glasses ever since her birthday party - haha). Oh and yes....apparently i'm pretty funny ;) ....

Two became one last weekend when my brother in law finally got married! As I type, they have left Paris and have arrived in Rome (they will also be going on a cruise and visiting Egypt, etc - lucky ducks!!). Anyway, as you all know, I am NOT a wedding photographer (and don't have plans to become one), but Jay asked me to take some photos during the ceremony. So for the 1 hour I had his camera, I snapped some shots.....all while in a dress (acck!) and heels (double acck!). Anyone who knows me, KNOWS that I am NOT the dress up type HAHAHA. My super talented and awesome buddy Susan Yee shot their wedding, so be on the look out for those amazing images soon!  If you've been around my blog for some time...you already know I love shoe shots....so I wanted to pop in and post just one pic from the day.......

Jay & Kris - We love you and hope you have the most amazing honeymoon ever. Please come back pregnant since you already broke my heart by NOT leaving me the keys to the Camaro ;P  If you'd like to redeem yourselves....I expect a pregnancy, an email letting me know where the keys to the Camaro are.....or some fabulous goodies from your trip ;) 

After 2 reschedules, we really wanted to knock this shoot out.....but of course the weather wasn't looking too good. We both checked the weather online yesterday, and it said that it wasn't supposed to rain until 9pm, so mom wanted to go for it. When I left my house it was sunny out....but as I neared the beach the sky was dark, dark grey. Basically it looked like the end of the world. It was cold, gloomy and windy....but all was well.....until it started drizzling/raining right as we were about to start shooting! We debated rescheduling again.....but since they don't live nearby and had just driven all that way.....we just went for it :) Luckily it was just drizzle most of the shoot....but still a bit tough since I had to keep wiping my lens the entire time. It's ok though....weather aside, the kids were fabulous as usual...and although the conditions were terrible....we made it look like it wasn't too bad ;)  Both kiddos are SO easy going and there was no complaining or tears  the entire time (and trust me, most kids would have been freaking out that it was freezing and drizzling out - heck....I kinda was ;) haha). Anyway, we snapped as quick as possible, said our goodbyes.....and down came the rain on the drive home.......

Well can you believe that Camden is turning 1 soon!?? He is adorable, has the cutest little smile and is so mellow.......

 

Big sister Kiara (Kiwi) is still a total superstar. The entire shoot was basically her hamming it up for me and striking poses non stop. I've been photographing her since she was about 2 and she has always been so easy to photograph.....

You might remember some of the pics from Jay (my brother in law) and Kristine's "Save The Date" shoot back in September (post #1, post #2 and post #3). Well guess what? This Saturday is the big day!!  We've got relatives here from all over the place (New York, London, Australia, etc) and will be busy with a family reunion, wedding rehearsal/dinner (PJ is one of the flower girls and Mark is the best man), playing tour guides (Disneyland, etc), so needless to say, I will be "Out of the Office" until Monday :) You can still send emails, etc, but it may take me a little longer than normal to respond :)  

Oh and since a post isn't a post without a photo....I figured it was only appropriate to post a pic of the happy couple (another pic from the same shoot) :)
