Alrighty! Here is the very first giveaway for the "Week Of Wow"! If you've visited my blog before, you know that PJ and I LOVE The New Children's Museum. Even before I started working with them commercially, PJ and I would go spend the day there and get creative, a little messy....and most of all...have FUN!  The staff is amazing and super nice, they use many recycled items for projects, displays and workshops. It's a great place to explore, create new things, jump around....and spend time with your friends and family!  Oh and if you are already members, you can still enter so that you can bring friends/family with you to TNCM! :) Maybe the grandparents will be visiting soon? Your sister and her kids? Your brother and his kids? Some friends from playgroup?...or friends in general? Here's you chance!

Ok, so next Saturday (July 10th) is Lot116's *3 YEAR* anniversary! Lot116 wouldn't have made it this far without the love, support and encouragement of so many of you, so this upcoming week is all about FUN, thanks and giving back :)  I've gotten a lot of questions about the "Week Of Wow", so I wanted to post a little intro to get you guys ready for Monday :) 

 

WHAT IS THE WEEK OF WOW? 

The "Week Of Wow" starts Monday (July 5th) thru Friday (July 9th) and is my way of celebrating Lot116's 3 year anniversary! Each day there will be multiple giveaways from some of my favorite vendors, clients & companies :)

 

HOW DO I WIN?

To win, make sure you are a fan/like on Lot116's Facebook page and then leave a comment underneath the link of the giveaway item you would like to win (yes, you can enter as many giveaways as you like, but only ONE comment per giveaway please)....BUT not just ANY comment!.... I would love for you to comment and let me know why you would like to win the item, or what you will use the item for. Basically, I don't just want a bunch of people commenting and saying "cool!" (in hopes of winning). I want to know that the item will go to someone who truly wants, needs and/or will USE it :) Once all of the comments are received, I (with the help of a few others) will go through the comments and pick my/our favorite 5-10 and then toss those names into a drawing and pull out a name. That person will win :) So yeah....when you comment, make sure you post anything from why you want it, what you'll do with it, who you will give/gift it to, etc :)

....from my shoot yesterday :) I promised this cute family that I would at least get one little sneak peek up before they left for Tahoe. 

I will pretty much be "Out of the office" until Monday........but don't forget that the "WEEK OF WOW" starts on Monday, so if you aren't already a fan/like on the Lot116 Photography Facebook page, hop on it! ;)  Oh and there will be at least two giveaways PER DAY (Monday thru Friday)! I waited (for what felt like ages) until PJ could fit into the adorable, handmade outfit that the super sweet ladies (a cute mom and daughter duo, I might add!) from www.42ndandorange.com gave her quite some time back. Well the other day I wanted to snap some last pics of PJ with ALL of her baby teeth (thank goodness I did, because her first tooth fell out on Monday!).  As we went through her closet to grab a few outfits, she grabbed that one (like she has many times....but was always sad to find out that it was still too big), we tried it on super quick and wouldn't you know it?....IT FIT! The whole shoot idea was SUPER last minute, so with only about an hour left of light in the day, we ran home, grabbed clothes and the camera and knocked out 3 locations and 3 outfits in about 30-40 min :)  I'll just post a few with her m.o.m outfit for now though (since I want to keep this post special for just them) :) They have a store in Encinitas and an Etsy shop, so be sure to check them out and score some awesome and unique stuff for your kiddos!   Oh and the reason for the covered mouth in the first pic is because I told her (thanks to a You Tube video her godfather sent daddy, and daddy showed her) "Maybe we should tie a string on your tooth and a rocket and light the rocket and watch your tooth fly out! :)". So that is PJ giggling while screaming "Noooooooooo!!!!" and hiding her tooth ;)
